Discover how to instill a lifelong love of music in your elementary-level piano students. 

Mandatory Age Requirement: 16+

Prerequisites: None (though RCM Level 8 piano or equivalent is strongly recommended)

To be eligible for the Teaching Elementary Piano Self-Guided course, registrants must meet the following requirements:

• Completed ARCT diploma OR undergraduate or graduate music degree OR current MTNA National Certification (NCTM)
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience

Applicants who do not meet these requirements should register for the Elementary Piano Guided course, which provides weekly check-ins with a facilitator, and submission and feedback on assignments at the end of each unit.

FALL 2026 (Guided) – Sept 16 – Nov 25, 2026 (enrollment deadline: Wed. Sept 9, 2026 at midnight Pacific)

WINTER 2027 (Guided) – Jan 27 – April 7, 2027 (enrollment deadline: Wed. Jan 20, 2027 at midnight Pacific)

SUMMER 2027 (Guided) – June 2 – Aug 11, 2027 (enrollment deadline: May 26, 2027 at midnight Pacific)
